Community
Send Me Seeds Pip is committed to assisting communities to live sustainably, either through providing seed subscriptions for community gardens, making donations to community groups, or participating in community gardens and permaculture organisations both in Australia and overseas. Nothing is more satisfying then spreading pip's seeds far and wide and watching communities grow and grow.
Some of our current community group subscribers include:
Indigenous Hospitality House Community Garden
Indigenous Hospitality House (IHH) residents offer a peaceful, homely atmosphere for Indigenous people supporting a family member in Melbourne’s hospitals
Mittagundi is an opportunity for young people 14 to 18 to live and enjoy the challenges of a remote and simple lifestyle.
A Pip for the Community
With every purchase of an Annual Seed Subscription Send Me Seeds Pip donate a packet of veggie seeds to a community in need of regenerative support
We also participate and offer support to community gardens or groups such as Sprout or Permablitz
Abroad Sas alone has helped run permaculture projects and planted seeds in Africa, Indonesia, India and Nepal. Through the Australian Volunteers International Send Me Seeds Pip has donated seeds to projects in East Timor, Fiji and Sudan.
Testimonial
Community, family and scholarly thumbs of varying green hues, meet Pip! Pip provides an elegant solution for the time-crunched or soil-shy, artfully guiding us through the seasons, strategies and flavoursome rewards of growing your own food. Who could concoct a more nifty resource for school and home gardeners?
